Project Manager

Autodata Solutions is looking a Project Manager to join their Troy, MI USA office.

Position Overview:

The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines within budget. This includes managing assigned resources and coordinating the efforts of third-party contractors or consultants and deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will define the project’s charter, plans and status reports and oversee the timely delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall project development through the entire life cycle and minimize risk exposure
  • Develop full-scale project plans and communications documents
  • Manage all project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Create documents defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Manage project dependencies and the critical path and resolve potential conflict
  • Identify issues and risks and devise contingency and mitigation plan


  • Post Secondary degree in Business or Computer Science or equivalent industry experience in Project Management is desired
  • Project Management Professional certification an asset
  • Knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting and operations
  • Develop best practices and tools for managing project execution 
  • Automotive industry experience a definite asset (OEM and/or service providers)
  • Superior analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Must be able to travel to our client site in Auburn Hills, MI
  • Must be able to travel to our London, Ontario office
